This figure from the Preservation Society of Newport County sits atop a jewel box produced in France. At some point in the past hundred years, a foot of the figurine was broken off and lost.

A block of metal was welded to the leg stump, carved and colored to replace the missing foot.

The foot was then patinated to blend in with the surrounding metal.
