Zinc Garden Statue: Cast zinc with natural patina

Private collection

At some point this maiden caught in the act of collecting fruit was anchored in concrete. At some point in an attempt to move the sculpture, her legs broke off from her dress. Our challenge was to release her from the concrete and put her back together again.

You can see our restoration of a zinc casket for the newport mansions here. And a much grander zinc cast Lewis County Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Monument here.
