In contrast to the surfaces created by abrasives, Bonded Burnishing\u2122 tools create finishes\u00a0with\u00a0minimal\u00a0stock removal, producing economies in material costs, energy, and worker safety.<\/p>\n

For fiber based Bonded Burnisher\u2122 media, controlling the direction of attack based on\u00a0fabric bias produces a variety of finishes. SATIN FINISH<\/h2>\n

At\u00a0the image’s\u00a0lower left is\u00a0the finish made with abrasives on a Sears Elite stainless steel refrigerator case. On the\u00a0upper left, upper right, and lower right, you see the manufacture of a finish similar to that on the Sears refrigerator, but produced by a Bonded Burnisher\u2122 prototype tool.<\/p>\n

In contrast to the finish now on the refrigerator, the surface produced by\u00a0the Bonded Burnisher\u2122 has been made with little or no material removed during manufacture, and\u00a0at considerably lower speeds, making the entire process safer, quieter and more economical. The new finish is cleaner to make, and the final product\u00a0is\u00a0denser and smoother, therefore easier to clean.<\/p>\n
