Restored Historical Mechanisms

I have particular fascination for objects that work – fountains, weapons, ecclesiastical accoutrements like St. George’s School’s Processional Cross, and gadgets like the Cigarette Vending Machine. Mechanical underpinnings of seemingly static works like the library stacks shelving at the Pequot Library, and Richard Lippold’s wire-woven Trinity at Portsmouth Abbey, are among the many mechanisms we’ve built or rebuilt during our almost three decades as restorers.
