In our Instagram posts below, you can click the page dots to see many of our projects in-process, beginning with a project now underway – restoring the bronzes of the Rochambeau Monument here in Newport, Rhode island.
Next is our restoration of a whale model for The New Bedford Whaling Museum, given to the museum in the 1920’s by New York’s Museum of Natural History, followed by our restoration of an Art Nouveau Bronze Fairy, and our restoration of a marble bust of Julius Caesar.
At the end of this series we are restoring a ‘Modello Ligneo di Cupola di San Pietro a Roma’ – a wooden model of a proposed replacement for the cracked dome of Saint Peter’s Basilica in Rome, Italy, made by Gaetano Chiaveri in 1748. By the way, the pope rejected it.
